Create Mocap animation with one video camera! iPi Desktop Motion Capture is an entry-level markerless motion capture technology that literally puts motion capture at animator's desktop. You can shoot a video right at your workplace using 3 or 4 inexpensive webcams or inexpensive digital camera and have it converted to 3D animation on your PC. iPi Desktop Motion Capture can be operated by a single person, and powered by one computer. Setup of iPi’s markerless system is not only quick and easy, but extremely portable. The technology is perfectly suited for small studios, freelance animators and motion capture enthusiasts. iPi Desktop Motion Capture was successfully used in a number of video game and machinima productions.
iPi Desktop Motion Capture features integrated animation clean-up tools, motion retargeting tools and a set of exporters for popular formats. Animations created with iPi Desktop Motion Capture can easily be imported into popular 3D applications including 3D MAX, Maya, XSI, Poser and iClone.
