information. Large investments have been made in developing those databases.
However, usually the investments stop when it comes to developing a good
method for exploring those data.
OLAP Reporting Tool for Excel came into being in as an attempt to resolve the problem of huge amounts
of data that could not be analysed. The application facilitates business intelligence by helping management study
and draw conclusions from data. OLAP Reporting Tool for Excel is an integrated part in three of my other applications –
Calendar Browser,
Public Folder HelpDesk and
TimeCard for Outlook
– but it can be used stand-alone as well.
On-Line Analytical Processing - OLAP - is a category of applications
and technologies for collecting, managing, processing
and presenting multidimensional data for analysis and management purposes.
