Tivatrainer
Tivatrainer is a pharmacokinetic Simulation program which is capable of showing the blood and effect site concentrations
of various intravenous anaesthetics.
Tivatrainer has been used all over the world for explaining pharmacokinetic concepts.
It can simulate bolusses and infusions or Target Controlled Infusion(TCI).
This new version 9 with an advanced 3D graphical model and tools to calculate population Pk values for example
the induction dose related to weight. The
administrations modes may vary from manual, target controlled infusion, effect site controlled infusion as well as an IV
assist mode whereby the 'ideal' manual input is calculated by the program. The 3 compartment model can be explained
as well as the interaction between opioids and one hypnotic. The pharmacokinetic properties of the anaesthetics can
be manipulated. Data can be exported to Excel and PowerPoint for presentation purposes.
