VisiMap Professional VisiMap Professional is an essentially hierarchical two-dimensional graphical representation to enter, visualise, restructure, and print, transfer, present, communicate and reuse information using a graphical metaphor.
VisiMap Professional is an easy-to-use application for all sorts of planning and management tasks. These range from training and learning, brainstorming, problem-solving, document planning, project planning and management, web-site planning and generation, note-taking, meeting facilitation, personal development and many other day-to-day tasks.
VisiMap Professional is designed to structure and present the results of creative thinking, without inhibiting or constraining the creative process. VisiMap Professional 4.2 adds support for exporting maps to Microsoft Excel 2000 through 2007, and a new 'lateral graphic' map view, together with a few minor new features.

Key Features of VisiMap Professional:
  • Added new 'Lateral graphic' map view.
  • Added Microsoft Excel 2000-2007 export filter.
  • You can now copy & paste Microsoft OneNote hyperlinks from OneNote to VisiMap Pro.
  • A new option has been added (to the program preferences) whereby you can opt for VisiMap Pro to create smart titles for new Outlook item links.
  • The Add Link and Link Properties forms will remember the folder last used for adding a map link.
  • VisiMap Pro is now more resilient to buggy printer drivers that prevent successful startup. If VisiMap Pro freezes on startup because of a faulty driver it will, on restarting, offer the user the option of excluding the affected printer from use. Excluded printers can subsequently be re-enabled via the General Options tree in the Preferences form.

  • Eliminated exceptions that could occur when using links in "My Network Places" in file explorers.
  • In MS Word export filter, fixed icon for hyperlinks generated from map links to other maps.
  • In MS Word export filter, map links to local branches are now exported as bookmark cross-references.
