How to remove DRM from iTunes 9 on Mac

Why do we need to remove DRM?

iTunes 9 was announced on 10 September 2009 at this year's annual music event from Apple. Comparing with iTunes 8, iTunes 9 received a number of cool new feature enhancements to make navigation and syncing to your devices easier. Besides the improvement of interface and usability, iTunes offers a new feature – home sharing - let you share purchased songs across a home network.

But There is a limit that you must make sure all the computers on the network are on the same iTunes account, and then you can drag to copy songs to other computers. So what if I want to share the music or movie bought from iTunes 9 with friend from a distance or play songs on iTunes 9 with other non-iPod MP3 Players like PSP, Zune, Creative Zen, and Blackberry?

Method 1. Remove DRM from iTunes music with burning-and-ripping method

Insert a CD-R or CD-RW disc into your CD-ROM drive
Run iTunes, create a new playlist and burn it to make an "Audio CD"
