IDE Helper

The IDE Helper is utility for search and replace an expressions in files of catalog tree. The expressions can be represented as string of characters, series of bytes or escape sequences. Another purpose - to remove temporary files on the disk. The program have integration with Windows shell. For a file browse and editing it uses Windows Notepad as default editor, but can be assigned custom editor. Because IDE Helper supports C++ programming language syntax it have potential integration with C++ Editor, that is available on authors WEB site. In most cases IDE Helper can be useful as assistant for IDEs which are without "Find in files" command or performing such a command distracts a programmer from current task. The last is a cause the program was designed. The IDE Helper is time limited program with 30 days trial period and full functionality.

Key Features:

Standard find an replace. Normal text syntax for find and replace.
Extended syntax includes language C++ syntax and additional options including test of characters before and after expression. Hexadecimal expressions, escape sequences search is also available.
Searching in selected files only. You can choose files from number of recently found and/or add new one to the list.
File types can be customized.
Removing a temporary files. It's useful when required to remove temporary files from project directory. File types here can be customized. This feature realized by embedding to Windows shell.
File transfer to: Microsoft VC environment or Borland C++ IDE for editing from context menu of main list box.
Auto-load on system start. The program will be automatically loaded in a new Windows session if IDE Helper has been active during system termination.
Flexible behavior. All Windows shell records can be removed or installed from menu Options.
